Minimum/Max Frequencies

By default, Wi-Spy settings and specs are optimized for WiFi troubleshooting. The Lab Accessory (a feature unlock in Chanalyzer) adds the ability to change the minimum and max frequencies.

Note: Wi-Spy is tuned with the default frequencies in mind. If the frequencies are changed, your results may vary. That said, we find that it works pretty well.

Device Finder Directional Antenna

Once you're able to see interference using Wi-Spy DBx, the next step is to remove it. Unfortunately, the standard antennas found in most wireless devices are omni-directional, so they receive signals from all directions, making it difficult to locate the interference. The Device Finder 2.4 GHz Directional Antenna is specifically designed to connect to the Wi‑Spy DBx to quickly pinpoint interference sources so that you can remove them from your WiFi environment.
