• Enhancements:

  • Chanalyzer now displays the connected Wi-Spy’s serial number in the About window. Use your Wi-Spy serial number to register your device in My MetaGeek for easier warranty processing and hardware tracking.

• Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that prevented Wi-Fi scanning when no Wi-Spy was connected (Note: To see Wi-Fi data when no Wi-Spy is connected, go to the View menu and click both Show Networks Table Tab and Show Networks Graph Tab.)

Pro-tip: Switch between light and dark color schemes in Chanalyzer

The default theme in Chanalyzer is the “Dark Color Scheme” with black and dark gray background elements. If you want to come out of your Code Cave (as we lovingly refer to our engineering offices here at MetaGeek HQ) and go out into the sunshine, go to the View menu and uncheck the Dark Color Scheme option to bring your Wi-Fi troubleshooting from the dark side to the light side.
